The Governments Control
The presidential election of 2016 is one of the most spoken about debates of its time. People make a lot of efforts to get their points across and views understood as an why one should vote for either candidate. I on the other hand strongly believe that the government already knows who will be elected president on this upcoming presidential election, like every other one. The government is well aware of all the issues the U.S is facing and how to fix them. Us the citizens and legal immigrants have no power or say on the decisions made by the government or the president. Voting in this upcoming election or any other one is pointless because the decision has already been made by the government.
It should be noted that of the united states don’t actually vote for who is to become or vice president. We in fact vote for a body of electors who make the choice of who will be elected president next. This electoral college is a group of individuals who choose by the constitution who will be granted the opportunity to run our country. If they fail to make to elect a president the House of Representatives will select instead of them. It is never our choice but the governments.
The president’s occupation is to reinforce federal laws for the better of the people. The governments obligation are to conduct the policy, actions and affairs of state, organization and or people. All of this leads me to believe that the government and the president are well aware of all the issues that encircle the United States of America. Some examples of the necessities we now face are employment, better education, less crime, better health care, easier transportation and the list goes on and on. Since it is evident that the leaders of the United States see where we slant they also know how to help level out the planes once again. To fix most of the problems we have today we need more money which we don’t have due to unnecessary purchases from other countries. As of the end of August 2014 more than a third of debt was owned by foreign countries (34.4%) the largest foreign holders of the U.S debt were mainland China (7.2%) and Japan (7.0%).
We can elect a president whom we see fit to run our country but, at the end of the day the government has already chosen whose face will better represent the United States. They make all the final decisions not us. Any laws passed by the House and Senate and of course approved by the president we would have to follow whether we agree to their reasons or not. Once again this leaves us powerless and out of the equation when it comes to speaking up about how to make this country we live in a better place to live in and to the decisions they make. They want us to believe that we have a say in all choices they make. That make seem as if we were united when in fact the leaders are the ones in charge of such choices.
It is a major waste of time for us to think that by voting in this upcoming election we are helping America evolve in any way. The candidates job is to convince the people that they are the better choice for being president. They know what it is that we need and are longing for. Therefor they can scheme and tell us what it is that we need to hear. Because we are vulnerable they have the advantage. We are so desperate to grow that if they sound reasonable we will vote.
In conclusion, the government knows which of the candidates will become president next. They very well know every issue that we the citizens face today and how to fix them. Even though the government makes it seem like the voice of the people is heard and based on us they make any decision this is not so. The government has control of every decision that is made not us the citizens of the United States of America. So it is pointless for us to think that with our vote we are to change anything.
