Moses fasted and so did The Levite priests, the Psalmist David, Consecration, Prayer and Fasting is consistently written about throughout The Bible. Moses fasted and so did he prophet Daniel and Jesus (God Himself) as well as His chosen apostles and all those in The Early Church, just to name a few. We fast and pray too, in order to seek God and receive the manifestation of His power in our lives. We seek Him for closer intimacy as well as for knowledge, wisdom, revelation, protection, healing and deliverance. So, we can go forth with all He wants to give us. All for His honor and His glory.
