Due to large changes in population, as well as people being told to move into cities, what changes in technology must China make to meet the needs of the future?
Changes: 1. How to make bullet trains more faster.
2. How to build more trunk routes and rail ways.
3.How to build larger turbines to take use of the wind power.
4.How to make the blades survive from the cruel tests of nature.
5.How to store the fossils better in extreme conditions.
6.How to make the transportation of electricity more efficient.
What are some innovative technologies being made in China today?
<1> High-speed rail
<2>Ultra high-voltage cable network
<3>LNG complex ships (huge)
<5> A great telescope in Guizhou
Why is renewable energy so crucial to the future of China?
Because half of the China’s population are suffering from the air pollution caused by burning coals to supply electricity or traveling with vehicles. On the other hand, the demand of the energy is growing rapidly. Renewable energy is almost the only solution to solve both questions.
Where is renewable energy being built? What types?
<1> Province Xinjiang; wind farm (turbines)
<2> Province Qinghai: solar park ( photovoltaic panels)
<3> Province Hainan: fish farm (Not sure if this counts)
<4> Shen Zheng: electrical buses
What are some difficulties in designing and building renewable energy?
There are a common problem in designing-the tremendous size-to meet the great need of energy. To the turbines, because its massive size, it is really a challenge to assemble the blades. In terms of the electrical buses, it requires a huge system to monitor.
