JERUSALEM THROUGHOUT HISTORY 1
Jerusalem is one of the oldest and most important cities in the world in the eyes of Jews, Christians and Muslims. It's sacred and holy to the three monotheistic religions. This, has caused many wars since it was founded.
Due to its religious significance, different people and rulers have tried to conquer it and establish their dominance. Every new ruler changed the city according to his beliefs and religion.
This project will be done in groups of 3 – 4 students. The project will be done in class and at home.
Choose a historic era and research it. The main research question is:
How did the (crusaders/Ottomans/British/Israelis and more for example) influence the life of the city during their administration.
