Thinking after the footprint test Mulder 10C
According to the information which is presented in the result sheet above, the lifestyle of mine can be judged as “fine” by myself. I’m glad that the total cost of all human when they’re living in my style of living for a year only require one Earth. Overall, the major cost in my life is food but not goods for entertainment, because though we can have them, we don’t really need much. As for the mobility, which is the second largest cost in my life, I do take my father’s car for going to the school. In consideration of the long distance from my home to school, I have to reduce the footprint in other part to fix the footprint in transportation, or I can take subway more often after class to go home. For food, I believe that if 20 percent of the meat I have everyday can be replace by the green food, such as carrot and cabbage, I’ll make less ecological footprint than I used to.
In total, the way I live can still be improved in many other ways, hopefully that I can take apart in environment protection by the changing above.
