Now many people like online shopping, just in the first half of 2015, there are ssented in China, so it will produce a lot of waste cardboard. So we decide use cardboard to make a easy VR(virtual reality) glasses
Virtual reality or virtual realities , which can be referred to as immersive multimedia orcomputer-simulated reality, replicates an environment that simulates a physical presence in places in the real world or an imagined world, allowing the user to interact with that world. Virtual realities artificially create sensory experience, which can include sight, touch, hearing, and smell.
Statement of the Problem:
Design and build a paper plane that can fly better than the others.
The paper plane should fly 50 ft. from the point of reference.
It should be strong, durable and finished to a high standard.
It must be possible to manufacture the design in the classroom.
Consider Problem (3pts)
The Design Brief
Background- Describe the problem – Provided but you need to improve. (see at the TOP)
Describe the results you want to get – Provided but you need to improve. (see at the TOP)
Add Specifications. (see at the TOP)
Research Solution (10pts)
List/sketch possible solutions that might be used in your final design. Clearly identify and describe how each of these ideas relates to the problem statement.
List down and Sketch possible solutions generated from the ideas of the members of the group.
Micro world—Coco VR glasses--Toby
Research and Generating Ideas – See what others have done to solve the problem.
In the space below, document your research. Be sure to include proper citations at the end of your notes.
These glasses behave in a similar way to a pair of 3D goggles in that they display two images. Ordinary glasses show a single image but 3D and virtual reality glasses contain polarised lenses which show two images, one per each eye.
These glasses enable the wearer to see three dimensional images which give an illusion of depth of perception. For example, if the wearer is using virtual reality for architectural purposes then they will be able to view a building at different angles, and walk through or around it.
Put some small people into some samll place such as a waste CD or a waste box
Design and Develop (7pts)
Decide on one solution to solve the problem
Based on the evaluation of your ideas (Brainstorming and Research), develop a design proposal for the highest scoring idea. Include working drawings (sketches with dimensions, so that you could build your project). Attach your working drawings to this sheet. Determine the materials you plan to use based on your design. List the material and quantity below.
Drawings/Sketches of your final solution with dimensions:
Materials to be used
Double faced adhesive tape
Work to create/Making a model or prototype (10pts)
In the space below, document the construction of the model/prototype. Be sure to include sketches/pictures as appropriate.
We need a abandoned package
Next, cut them into A4 size
Then,we search online, draw the blueprints and print drawing
And then we stick the drawing on the paperboard
Cut out the shapes
Finally, put them together with a magnifying glasses
Refining the Design or Redesign (3pts)
Based on your tests, what design refinements should be made to your product
Drawings/Sketches of your Refinements:
We add two velcros on the top of the glasses. It is to regular
Communicating processes and results (7pts)
Demonstrate the operation of your Paper plane to the class. As part of your demonstration, describe the steps involved in creating your design.
Make a ppt presentation or a video.n the real world or an imagined world, allowing the user to interact with that world. Virtual realities artificially create sensory experience, which can include sight, touch, hearing, and smell.
And then we stick the
