The forces that allow a paper plane to fly are the same ones that apply to real airplanes. A force is something that pushes or pulls on something else. When you throw a paper plane in the air, you are giving the plane a push to move forward. That push is a type of force called thrust.
While the plane is flying forward, air moving over and under the wings is providing an upward lift force on the plane. At the same time, air pushing back against the plane is slowing it down, creating a drag force. The weight of the paper plane also affects its flight, as gravity pulls it down toward Earth. All of these forces (thrust, lift, drag and gravity) affect how well a given paper plane's voyage goes.
Statement of the Problem:
Design and build a paper plane that can fly better than the others.
The paper plane should fly 50 ft. from the point of reference.
It should be strong, durable and finished to a high standard.
It must be possible to manufacture the design in the classroom.

It also named “Independent Power Aerodynamics Physical Model Plane”. This kind of plane was invented by John K Northrop in 1909. He use paper plane to help in his ideas for flying wing airplanes. And there are approximately three kinds of paper plane. The traditional paper plane, this plane just need a piece of A4 paper, just 6 steps that you can make a plane. The second one is DC-03, someone said this plane is “The best plane”. It has a huge hang gliding and a unique tail. But no International Federation or associations of paper airplanes give sure that it is “The best plane” so far. Simulated model aircraft is the third one. Many people think this kind of plane is not the real plane.
KT board plane KT board is on both sides with a smooth paper foam board, commonly used in panel or as a makeshift partition ,and because it is Lightsome, so people use this this board to make model plane, it will through the power of the wind fly great distances,and it also non-perishable, so if the weather is rainy the model also can fly.Easy processing is the most important thing about this kind of material,because it’s very easy to knifing,so we can make every different shape we want.But it also have disadvantage: If we want to make it fly farther than ever,need to find someone who have a big arm stength
Eject paper plane
This kind of plane made of paper, and there is a groove at the bottom of the paper plane, we can use spring to hookup, pull back the plane, then release, the paper plane be ejected. It can fly very long distance
This kind of plane is become a toy in our life, many people like play this plane. Because it can fly a long distance,and is very fast.
Remote control plane
In the last few years, an improvement in motor technology has also provided greater interest in the field. Motors have gotten smaller, more powerful, with better magnets, and now there are brushless motors with less friction, less wear, and less maintenance. The development of these parts also affects the development of the remote control plane. These parts are very important for the plane, these parts are rapidly developing, involving the Power System, Batteries, Chargers, Radio Equipment. And this plane is very easy to make, very convenient. It has been more and more close to our life. Today it became a toy that children like. However for teenagers, it is also very meaningful to make it.
