In this project, I was responsible for the landscape design and my co-worker did the architectural design, which is not show in the following file. The flood control wall have to be 7m, which created a 1.6m height difference between the high pile platform and site behind the wall.My strategy is to create lounging terrace at different height on the slope. By analyzing the active ingredient of certain kind of essential oil, plant varieties can be figured.A specific functional,scientific basis aromatic plant community are based on the results. The Farther From The Plant, The Concentration of scent Is Lower According to the concentration of suitability test by volunteers， The most effective area of aromatic plant is1-3m（concentration10-4 —10-6） The scent of living plants' effect to human body is significantly superior to the effect of essential oil. Like all park along Huangpu river, this site is a belt-shaped park. So I mainly used straight lines to express the fluidity of the spacial experience. To acquire a light and graceful feel, I used bottom overhead construction and covered it in rosaceous plants. The main purpose of this project is try to solve the problem of storm water and reduce the traffic noise. My strategy is to guide the rainwater into wetland, which I design in the greenbelt.The water can serve both as resorvior and as water feature. I use different kinds of plant group forms to keep noise away from residential areas.
