About our bridge
Designs of bridges vary depending on the function of the bridge, the nature of the terrain where the bridge is constructed and anchored, the material used to make it, and the funds available to build it.
Statement of problem
Design and build a double-deck bridge which can pass the car and the train at the same time. The bridge should be 130cm long and 60cm high
People who are interested in building a bridge and a model or engineers. Government that needs to build a bridge.
We decided to make a cable bridge just like last picture
The height should be 60cm
The length should be 130cm
The bridge should has two floors, one for transportation and the other for train
There should also be a cross-girder to support the bridge
Above the river
TOPIC HEADER HERE
We have many PowerPoint templates that has been
Measure the dimension of building
Shake the table gently to imitate an earthquake.
Aim： To imitate the condition (over the sea)
Method : Use a board and paint it blue
Aim : To prevent citizens from falling from the bridge
Method : Add barriers
Benefits In Physics
Can be constructed by cantilevering out from the tower - the cables act both as temporary and permanent supports to the bridge deck
Much greater stiffness than the suspension bridge, so that deformations of the deck under live loads are reduced
No Large Ground Anchorages Needed
For a symmetrical bridge (i.e. spans on either side of the tower are the same), the horizontal forces balance and large ground anchorages are not required
Replace older bridges to lower the relative price of these designs.
