Geothermal energy is the heat from the Earth. It's clean and sustainable. Geothermal energy power generation like traditional thermal power, both of them is convert the thermal to mechanical energy then produce electricity, the different is the heat source of geothermal energy power generation is geothermal, not fuel.
There are three basic types of geothermal energy power plant: Dry steam plants, flash steam plants and Binary cycle power plants.
Binary cycle power plants
Binary cycle power plants transfer the heat from geothermal hot water to another liquid (Heat carrier). The heat causes the second liquid to turn to steam, which is used to drive a generator turbine.
Dry steam power plant principle
The majority hydrothermal fluids the dry steam power plant used are steam. The steam would be transferred from production well to the turbine directly , so to drive the generator to provide electricity, and the waste would be exhaust from the injection well.
This power plant has the simplest and most effective design among all three power plants. The first geothermal power plant that human being built in 1904 in Tuscany, Italy, and it is a dry steam power plant .
However, although the dry steam power plant has various of advantages, the withdraw still can not be ignored. This plant could not work without the steam resource, which limits its development greatly.

Furthermore, the Tibet province of China have a huge geothermal energy potential and China government can making strong policy and China have enough labour force to developing and maintaining geothermal power plants. Therefore, the geothermal development will bring benefit and improve people’s lives.

1.Lacking of steam resources and high temperature geothermal energy, the only power plant that Germany could build is Binary Cycle Power Plant or direct use.
2.Lacking of high enthalpy(a unit for geothermal fluid)reservoirs, that might not provide enough works for the power generator during the process.
How to improve the geothermal energy production and direct use level
1.From economic aspect, the government could increase the geothermal project founding, and encourage people to try the geothermal energy by reducing the geothermal electrical feed, and installing more geothermal heat pump.
2.From political, government could introduce policies to support the development of geothermal energy.
