I work at Canadian Academy of Engineering, and design
the planning of application of environmental protection in electricity transmiting and its technology.
It is the branch of engineering that deals with the technology of electricity. Electrical engineers work on a wide range of components, devices and systems, from tiny microchips to huge power station generators.
Electrical engineers design, develop, test, and supervise the manufacturing of electrical equipment, such as electric motors, radar and navigation systems, communications systems, and power generation equipment.
A problem of electricity transmission
At present, electric transmission line make use of direct current to
transmit electricity. But most of domestic appliance use alternating current to work. Therefore in the process of transform from DC to AC, will consume a lot of energy.
The key is how to reduce the waste of energy.
Yet, as we know, in the process of transmission, the electric energy loss of high voltage direct current cable is the least. Thus it is the best to make use of DC cable. So how to increase the use of electric energy?
At present, on the one hand, green energy is very universal. On the other hand, electrical transmission facilities themselves cannot generate electricity.
Therefore, we can put wind generator and solar generator(PV Panel) on transmission poles. Have both ability: transmission and gereration.
