Activity: Communicating with my artist through text. I worked on it at home for a while, watching videos on designing. So far we talked about the design and what kind of quality I am aiming for. He ran by a few ideas with me but nothing really seemed to stick.
Commentary: Coming up with a finished product proved to be harder than I thought. Instead of paying the artist to redesign the business cards, I figured that I would take on this task myself. I went through various sketches, patterns, even textures to try and vision what the ideal advertisement would look like. To help get the juices flowing I looked at some adds that commonly pop up and I tried to capture what seemed most appealing to them so that I could try creating something of the same nature. No matter how many times tweaked or completely reconfigured the current model, nothing made me feel like this is something the consumers would want to stop and examine.

Activity: I spoke to my facilitator about what he thought on my drawings. He wanted this to be more of my decision because I was in charge of how the business will be receiving more recognition
Commentary: The company that create the business cards take weeks to remake the cards. This was a bit of a set back but not the end of the world. I spoke to my facilitator and the company will most likely not even do a prototype for free. Instead of having a legitimate business card I'm going to have to work with one of my sketches.

Hours: 1 hour and 25 minutes
Activity: I went to my facilitators house after school and we talked about useful information. It was a while since we talked about the equipment used for surveying so we had spent some time going over them again. This time we went into further detail and the new arrivals that the business will be receiving.
Commentary: Refreshing the information on the tech we use was very helpful. I had a better, clearer, understanding of how they function. This is helpful because the more I know what I'm talking about, the more trusting the clients will be when they hear me speak to them about the business. Some people are into technology so knowing we have the best is resurging toward the client. Even if a client does not care much fore the tech, just hearing about it will peak their interest. My facilitator told me to use that as a strategy.
