When Nick was 22 he gave his parents, brother, and Mrs. Granger money. Mrs. Granger said “there isn’t one Christmas that I remember where I didn’t get a gift from my students that year.
10 Years Later
When Nick was in college and he was 22 his dad gave him a bank account that had millions of dollars in it because of all the money his dad made with the partnership he made.
Nick got famous for the word frindle and the whole world knew about. The Press came to his school and Mrs. Granger started to be friends with him. It earned him lots of money.
The word wars!
Nick Allen walks into 7th period language arts class the next day and the teachers name was Mrs. Granger. Nick raised his hand right when the bell rang and said “ I forgot my frindle.” One of his friends John yelled “I have an extra one you can borrow, Nick.” So John threw his pen Nick and Nick purposely missed it. When every was leaving calss Mrs. Granger called him to stay for a minute.
The Big Idea
Nick Allen thought that he could get his class to start using the word frindle instead of pen. Nick had an idea one day when he was at Penny Pantry to ask the cashier if he could have a frindle. The cashier said “a what”. Then Nick pointed to the ballpoint pens. Then six days later Janet his friend goes up to the counter and asks for a frindle. So then the same day six kids from his class ask for a frindle. That is how the word wars started.
