DESCRIPTION-On February 28th after school I went to Walmart, and started to purchase what was on my grocery list. I immediately went towards the craft aisle. I ended up buying: paint, wooden platform, fabric, paint brushes, and popsicle sticks. I decided to get the basic items, and if I needed more materials that I would make another trip.
COMMENTARY-During this day I felt extremely lost. I ended up changing my mind about a lot of things that was originally on my list. I also started over thinking everything. I have this idea of my diorama looking exactly like how I want the set to look like. It was just a little intimidating trying to decide what tools to buy.
I am walking down the craft aisle in Walmart. I was deciding on which platform should be my foundation to my diorama.

DESCRIPTION- On March 3, 2017 I started to revise my final copy of my play, and creating a cover. After I did this I printed out my first final copy. I wrote my play in horizontal format. My facilitator originally gave me the idea of typing a play in this format.
COMMENTARY- During this day I was very excited, yet scared. I felt like I did something wrong. It is always so hard not to be super critical about your work. I am super impressed with my play and I think one day I will follow through with getting it published. It took me an hour to print, and revise my work.
This is me printing out my final copy of my play. I ended up printing it out in Etowah High School’s Media Center.

DESCRIPTION- On March 9, started building my diorama. I knew exactly what I wanted it to look like because I created a blueprint. I began with my platform and painted it brown. I then started to create the flats and adorn them in old fashioned wallpaper. This step itself took a long time because I wanted the set to look authentic and not cheap. After that I started creating the windows, and drapes. I also saved money by using actual tree sticks from outside. This was really resourceful and It came out really cool.
COMMENTARY- During this step I was so scared, I thought I was going to mess up, and have to start over from scratch. Instead everything started to come together beautifully. It took me 3 days to get everything done! I put so much effort and creativity into the diorama, and It looks better than I imagine,
This is me working on my set diorama. I took this picture at my house. Building this took so much time, patience, and creativity, I was really happy about the final outcome.
