On 9/25/16-Apollo Officer Nelson was made aware of “Being On Call”. She accepted the position knowing this happens on a regular in the security world. Once she was contacted by the captain she accepted the position. However, she never showed up to the fill the position. The site supervisor was told she was shopping for uniform pants and then would be on her way. Once the site supervisor contacted Nelson; Nelson said she had to complete orientation first.
On 10/09/16-Conifer Officer Nelson was schedule to work the overnight shift 11pm to 7am.
She never called nor did she show up for work. The site supervisor made several attempts to reach her however, was unsuccessful in doing so. Officer Nelson came into the office on 10/12/16 explaining she’s unable to comprehend Humanity and required more training.
On 10/12/16- Apollo Officer Nelson was given another chance to redeem her misconduct or poor work ethics. Once again she has proving otherwise. Nelson was placed back on the schedule for 3 days. 2 Days at Apollo on 10/15/16 - 6am to 2pm arrived at 7:15 to work the 6am to 2pm her reasons were 1st she ran out of gas and needed to refuel, then she stated she over slept. 1 Day at Conifer which Nelson arrived at 7:45 am (late) to work the 7am to 2pm shifts on 10/16/16. Officer Nelson has stated she was lost although she has work Conifer before. Her first day which her hair wasn’t in a bun; yet hanging down which she quickly placed her hair up once ask again.
Plan for Improvement:
Officer Nelson, will call a least 4hours upon arrival if no longer available to work. Going forward will advise the site supervisor if tardiness should occur or applicable.
