Photography and the evolution of it all
For my senior project I created a portfolio of my photography throughout my learning experience.
For my research paper I had written about how photography has actually evolved over time and continue to evolves into a infinite thing.
Photography is linked to many career choices because there are multiple careers that branch from photography.
Photography as a hobby for me
Photography is the breakthrough of the century, always improving and always getting better!
Although can be a lifetime hobby for me, from learning throughout this project photography is a difficult background to get into and only pays when you get the jobs keeping this skill as a hobby I can use and expand on makes the more sense and is the most reasonable.
What are my plans in the future
I plan on attending Georgia highlands in the fall and decide my path in life there. I would like to get my business license and maintain my own pottery shop.
She started photography at a young age and went from there
She's has taken several classes and been doing it for many years now
She was an amazing mentor and helped me with any questions I had, which were a lot
Focus on a camera
Point of view
(still life images)
How I created my product
Going through ideas of what/who to shoot.
Finding the proper location.
Adjusting the cameras settings to proper things.
Looking for correct angles and points of view.
Finally taking the correct photo
But I will break this down.
Picking what or who to take photos of
This part of photography is most crucial because everyone has a different view on what their personal aesthetic is and what they enjoy photographing.
Finding the proper location
Location is another crucial key in the photography process taking into consideration the background of the image and the amount of light given off at that location.
Adjusting your camera to the proper settings.
Depending on the types of photos you would like to take you must adjust the cameras settings. Every camera has different settings and different kinds of editing built into them but getting to know which setting and what you are wanting to achieve is the most cruital part.
Looking for the correct angles and point of view
Choosing where you actually want to take your photos is the next step in the process. The proper angle gives the photo the desired aesthetic of the photography. The angle from which a photo is taken can either make or break a photo.
Finally taking the correct photo
After following the steps for taking a good photo you should have the desired photo of choice. Taking many photos at once significantly raises the chances of taking the photo you desired.
My learning stretch
My learning stretch was going out of my comfort zone and doing and seeing things I have not seen before.
Although all my photos can not be shown in one powerpoint I truly understood what photographers have to go through to get the images they want.
I've grown a lot mentally, photography takes a lot of open-mindedness and patience.
I've learned more about what Id like to do in my life and what I would like to achieve in the future. Photography is exponentially growing and becoming infinite.
Thank you judges! (:
