There was no winner of the Cairde Seamróga Ros Liath £5200 lotto jackpot on Sunday night. The numbers drawn were 1, 6, 13 and 22. Noel Cosgrove won the seller’s prize and the five lucky dip winners were Sharon Cosgrove, Knockavea, Caroline Boyle, Finn Park, Edel Cosgrove, Mullaghconnolly, Paul Goodwin, Lakefield and Gerry Tierney, Enniskillen. Next week’s draw will be held in the Roslea Arms with Martin Clerkin and Anthony Jordan co-ordinators. Thank you to all ticket sellers and those who purchase tickets for your continued support.
The club’s U14s were defeated on Saturday by a very physically very Irvinestown team. Despite trailing by 2-6 to no score at half time they fought back gamely to outscore Irvinestown in the second half but still ended up on the wrong side of a 3-8 to 2-4 final scoreline. Oisin McKenna pulled off some great saves in goals while Adam Callaghan, Daniel Boyle and Aaron Murphy were solid in defence, Davis Barzdins and Michael Flanagan worked tirelessly at midfield and Eamon Lynam, Oisin Toye and Jamie Cassidy looked threatening up front. The U14s have no game this weekend.
St. Gerard’s minors also have a bye this weekend.
The Reserve team’s away game against Tempo on Sunday was cancelled because of a waterlogged pitch and they are due to play Devenish at home on Saturday evening 25th March at 6pm.
Also on Saturday 25th March the club’s annual presentation night will be held in the Complex. Music is by the Do Rightly’s. The 2016 Reserve team and St. Gerard’s U16s will be presented with their winners’ medals.

Saturday morning last, despite terrible weather conditions saw a huge turnout of young, old, male and female members to assist in the tree planting in Shamrock Park. Planting for the future was our theme and this was more than endorsed by the great attendance.
