- Install a 32ch Safeguard Hybrid NVR. This replaces DVR #.42 & DVR #.43 (DVR #.41’s hard drive was replaced Sept. 2015)
- Install a POE switch and 4 encoders (supplied by MPT)
- Supply & replace the following cameras with IP cameras (clean/focus other cameras where needed):
o Current DVR #1 (not being replaced and will still have 16 cameras):
§ Move Cam #2 PTZ Lobby ATK to input #1 of new NVR, replace with an new IP camera; move to the top of the front doors, covering towards lobby/concessions
o New 32ch Hybrid NVR:
§ Current DVR #.42 is moved to the new NVR stating from input #2 to #17:
· Replace camera 517 (VIP Bar-N) with a new IP camera (will now be input #9)
· Replace camera 516 521 (VIP Conc) with a new IP camera, move away from any poppers (will now be input #12)
· Replace camera B001 002 003 with a new IP camera (will now be input #13)
§ Current DVR #.43 is moved to new NVR starting from input #18 to #31 (input #32 will be a spare)
· Move current input #12 C515 VIP Prep Area to DVR #1 input #2, clean camera and move it into the liquor room (or use the best used replaced camera).

Cam #5 (new IP camera) - is in the wrong place; this was supposed to be outside the doors. To cover the Podium that is outside the doors, the elevator and future ATKs area. We already have this area covered by an analogue camera.
Cam #16 (new IP camera) - this is not where I wanted this shot – Greg did you make this change?
Cam #14 & #18 (new IP cameras) are both black and white.
He noted that cam 19 is not clear, and can be upgraded to an IP at your discretion (Cat5 has already been run).

1. Change ports on the switch.
2. Replace patch cable.
3. Install external network card.
…in the order above, to see if any of these changes work before we replace the unit.
Roger from Aegis will be out in Vancouver, and he has some work scheduled at Fifth Avenue not related to the above. When he is there, he can try these in order, and we can test connectivity here.
Therefore, you should send out the external network card, so it is there when he goes there. We don’t have a firm date yet, but I have looped in Aegis (Henry) who can let you know when to ship it to Fifth Avenue.

s like the issue with this unit is not the same as what I encountered at Markham. Network connectivity is very slow whether or not the NVR software is running.
I can send out an external network card for the tech to install in place of the current one connected to the Cineplex network to see if that is the issue. I would also recommend he replace the patch cable going to the switch (assuming they are close to each other) and use a different port on the switch if available.
Or I can send out a new unit, if you prefer that.

e are continuing the process of trying to troubleshoot the issue with your NVR. Can you check to see if there are any USB sticks in the NVR? (There are USB ports in the front and back of the NVR.) If there are any USB sticks in any of these ports, please remove.

o Cam #12 Lobby Exit (angle so less of the ceiling)
