Science and technology will be the key to the future teacher's role.( 比爾 . 蓋茲 , 1996) In modern children's life, it is full of experience in technology. Digital toys, mobile phones, computers, and digital cameras, are children's lives which are closely related with each other . Along with the progress of science and technology, it is the trend of the times that information technology is accommodated in teaching. Teacher's teaching should be combined with information technology. Let the children learn from the application of information technology to enhance their learning motivation and interest. And it makes the teaching content more abundant. Which can also improve the teaching efficiency and learning effects .
Dewey thinks , the best education is to learn from life, to learn from experience, to learn from the environment. (2016) So I designed the following courses to allow children to understand the cultivation of the steps, to master the skills of using camera to record the process of planting and to cultivate the attitude of caring for plants.
First of all, the teacher prepared some green beans and a good grown green bean sprouts and to give children to watch to the cause of child motivation. And then explain the process and methods of planting green bean to the children. Then, the teacher divided the children into three groups, each group of five people. The teacher will give each group of three tablets pc, l et children play with "happy little farmer" planting game and let the children to learn the skills of planting. After that, the teacher brought out planting green beans of necessary supplies. Let the each group of children to discuss what to use and carry out green bean planting activities. Let the children take turns to use Camera Digital to grow the process of each day shot up, and then children use the photo to tell the students about the process of planting and share the mood of planting experience and using the camera. And then let the children to grow the photos with the printer to print out, and made into a book, placed in the book corner. For other children to read. F or example , Teachers provide digital cameras to help children explore and observe them, allow children to shoot and learn autonomously. Application of information technology in teaching activities and information technology, will make children learn more diversified and individualised. But it may causes many difficulties in presenting the teaching material or may not present the phenomenon, the new study method and the opportunity, also causes the study to carry on. Science and technology makes learning more interesting, so that children can be more involved in classroom activities, but also to enhance their creativity. Teachers use information technology to enrich their teaching activities, improve the participation of children.
Using information technology in kindergarten teaching can help children in the development of social, language, cognition, skills and interpersonal interaction. I think the advantages of the tablet computer is suitable for narrow space activities of the majority of Hong Kong kindergarten . The tablet computer can let children easily to operate and outdoor use, convenient and flexible teaching. For young children, it is easy to operate, only through the small muscles and large muscles to achieve the effect of basic touch. But the downside is that children have access to these electronic teaching, some of the traditional teaching materials, they feel not enough to attract, reducing the habit of reading books, so that learning interest and lack of focus.
Children's life has been closely related to science and technology that we are not going to have a small problem with the use of science and technology or we are afraid of the problem. Instead, we should actively seek ways to develop something suitable for children. It should be under the norms and conditions of use of technology. Early childhood science and technology should be used to pay attention to the development of children under the full, physical activities, reading, games, social interaction, are basic and important for children, the basic needs of children can not be replaced.
