DATA HARVEST COLLECTOR
The Paulatuk HTC, in conjunction with Department of Fisheries and Oceans Canada is now accepting applications for a Data Harvest Collector starting October 1st to January 2017. The new Contract may restart April 2017, depending on funding available.
The successful candidate will be required to do house visits on a Monthly basis, to conduct harvest surveys under the DFO Contract (up to December) from all harvesters. This is a voluntary program and it is up to the harvester to rep ort, but there are draws at end of each Month for gas for participating. All surveys must be returned to the PHTC on or before the 10th of every Month for payment.
Qualifications: Grade equivalence of 10, must have good oral and written communication skills; ability to work well with the community and PHTC; may be required to attend meetings that pertain to the community harvest levels; maintain the harvester ID record in confidence that remains with the Collector and PHTC.
Rates: DFO = $525/Month (less taxes) plus 4% HP on each Monthly cheque will be issued.
