Identifying and utilising the key influences of learning is one of the major steps toward personal and professional development. There is no boundary on learning. For the sake of developments, one has to learn various phases of life. So this assignment has referred an organised behaviour of learning influences of each individual.
1.1 Key influences that may affect the personal learning process of individuals
learning is a procedure of acquiring knowledge at every step of a person. secrets of being successful and controller of life lie in learning. This is why it is said that the more you learn, the more you get proficient. Every individual have their own choice of learning. They choose it by influencing the facts surrounding them. So the key influences that affect the personal learning process of individuals are explained below:
Previous learning and experiences:
learning and experiences refer to interaction with previous courses of individuals at different steps. This can occur at home, school, colleges, universities or workplaces (Anderson, Cheng and Haarslev, 2000) . Learning counts for every age but experiences count for adults. Because they gain practical observation which gives them experiences. With learning, the experience is counted side by side.
Specific learning need:
, individual has to focus on a specific need to learn things. For example if a person wants to be doctor or businessman, he or she has to go for medical college or business administration according to need. This influences individuals learning process.
Formal versus informal learning:
formal learning is all about going to a particular institution and informal learning is acquiring knowledge from real life incidences (Bellanca, 2007) . Both are important for an individual to have. Formal learning with informal learning is a lethal combination.
The time has always been a vital factor for every aspect of life even for learning too. this is why a kid is admitted to preschool at first to get acknowledged with the alphabets and playing tools. With the passage of time that kid goes to high school, college and universities for higher education. Because a kid is not eligible to carry such loads of learning at this tender age. So time matters.
the learning environment is referred as the some diverse physical places as well cultures where individual acquires knowledge. This can be outside or inside the classrooms. Culture teaches us about the lifestyle of the people around the world (Boyes, 2004) . Classrooms are very organised. The movie, song, drama these teach culture. The adaptation of these two different environments influences learning too.
1.2 David Kolb's learning styles model and experiential learning theory (ELT)
David Kolb has developed this learning style theory in the year of 1984, here it is developed on the basis of an experiment on young people's learning approaches also for the modification of their education. it is a four stage of learning cycle which serves individuals learning differences as well as the cycle of learning at four stages. At this four-stage, a learner touches all the elements like observation, thinking, experiencing and action.

1.3 Honey and Mumford's Learning Styles
Peter Honey and Mumford’s learning style is an adaption of Kolb’s learning style. It is also parted into four steps which are having, reviewing and concluding the experiences with planning the next steps. They have also mentioned that people have their own choice to learn not to be stuck into one single style which vitally depends on the surrounding and context of learning.
Source: (Ferguson, 2007)
I do agree with these two learning styles. These are organised learning styles for the betterment of the individual. So teachers have highly appreciated these styles to use in their classes. In class different psychological students come to learn (Rayner and Cools, 2011) . They have the individual focus of learning. So teachers make a rational learning style adapting these two which eventually influences learners to engage in the class. Effective learning is ensured thereby helping learners identifying their weakness and strength through the experimental cycle.
Also, these are so flexible styles that with changes and needs the user can modify materials and activity to cope with the each stage of learning by maintaining all the stages (Sayed, 1988) .
The impact of key influences in my own learning process
My learning is empirically influenced by some distinctive factors like formal and informal ways at school. Because at the age I got admitted into school, that time using own intellectuals to learn was not quite possible. At home parents tried to teach me through informal ways and at schools teachers' well organized ways have influenced my learning. Now in college my aspiration and motivations are driving me toward my learning because now I have a specified my interest to move ahead. Also, the desire specification also has influenced my learning like to become the best one at this social and health care sector one has to have enormous knowledge. So training and gathering experiences are of another influence of my learning.
Formal, informal learning gives basic knowledge of life and education which includes family, school, colleges, society. One’s value, beliefs, norms all are developed in all these stages and it is a very positive effect of learning at that stage. Teachers have always encouraged by mentioning noble laureates who have contributed their best part to the society, these inspired me to build values and beliefs in the best form. But they have skipped the most of negativity of every aspect life. Alhtoughleanring them could also be helpful to choose the right path.
Although at college life I have introduced to real life situation due to friends from different dreams. Group discussions on the study, life goals and other incidents have influenced my sharing capability which is another influential part of learning. Access to resources like the library is one of them. There are enormous books on social and health care that one will simply be drowned in the ocean of knowledge. Professional training and degree give practical knowledge of for a get acquainted with the reality more.
Spider diagram showing knowledge, skills, practice, values, beliefs and career aspirations
Spider diagram is a scattered piece of an actual condition of an individual's life. Here I have also figured the knowledge, beliefs, value, aspiration for choosing this health and social care sector out (Boyes, 2004) .

Health and social care are a very practical course which requires lots of interaction with training at the work place. Earlier of this course copying has seemed quite difficult due to only bookish knowledge at school, college. That is where fundamental knowledge is adopted. The degree is associated with professional knowledge. Skill is I know about health and social care which is in the developing stage. Schools and colleges teachers, friends, seniors have influenced regarding values and beliefs building. Also, family and society is equally responsible. Their consultation, lectures have inspired my inner self to follow the path of honesty, hard working and perseverance. Down to earth and professional due care is two terms which are the key to success in this profession. As this course is very much practical so with routine practice I also take part in volunteer part-time job at local health care centre.
Besides there are obviously some hindrances like time limitation, resource restraint but my opportunist feature will lead me through all of these.

P4: Review of progress against the plan
Personal development in the arena of social and health care service is a crucial one (Shore, 2012). Enhancing knowledge and practices at first will pave the ways for developing learning diversification as well as decision taking skills, these are my first preference and will take 7 months(July,14 to Feb,15) for the achievement of these goals. This decision taking skill will be continued in the long term goals too. as most the targets are already fulfilled accordingly. All these have been achieved through participating lectures, class tests, group tasks, conference, club activities which are an open door of knowledge. Also, group presentation and individual have increased my speaking skill in front of audiences eventually my communication skill. Participating in case analysis have helped in mulch ways like decision-making skills development as well as critical analysis, thinking capability. For this, I have set time frame from the march,15 to June,16. Also, I have the plan to engage myself into the professional environment as health and social care job can not be done perfectly without the acquaintance to the practical organization. So joining as an and apprentice in some organization will cure the doubt. If possible, I will continue my career with these organizations too. These are long term goal which will be achieved through short terms. Like there is a saying that Rome is not built in a day. So I don't want to rush myself rather taking baby steps with proper plans and knowledge will help me to reach my goal.
