Orfil Ramos Quezada Student id: 22052007 Exam number 98609801 Cars are a passion of mine, almost an avocation. In ten plus years I have bought, fixed, and sold almost one hundred cars. This abundant experience has helped me formulate a method I use now everytime I consider buying a car. Using this step by step method has allowed me to successfully acquire many great cars and save a lot of money in the process. When buying a car research is very important. A lot of bad things can happen to a potential buyer without research. No one wants to buy a 'limon' or end up paying way more for repairs than a car is worth. There are other methods of researching a vehicles value, such as blue book or an appraisal by a mechanic however like many modern buyers I prefer to investigate a cars value using the internet. The internet can give you an abundance or reviews and websites at your fingertips and is invaluable. An abundance of data is very important to the car buying process. Price is the most important factor in purchasing a car. If your buying a car as a profit making venture then what you pay for the car, coupled with your resale price, affects how much money you'll make. If one is buying a car for personal use than overpaying can leave you with less money for future repairs and other services a car will need. A car on average is the second most expensive thing a person will buy in their lifetime (after a house) this can leave thousands of dollars up in the air during a negotiation. A car seller will often pull out all the stops to make a few extra thousand dollars at the buyers expense. It is very important for the buyer to be careful about pricing when buying a car. Once a price is agreed upon checking the condition a said car is vital before money and signatures change hands. There are many things that can be wrong with a car and you cannot trust the seller to tell you everything that is wrong with his car. A car can be a money pit if it's not in good working order. There are a lot of scam artists out there and not disclosing flaws in a car is a great way for them to save themselves a headache by selling their headache to you. At the very least one must perform an inspection of a cars engine, transmission and electronic system. Even a quick inspection can save you thousands of dollars. When buying a car finishing the transaction can be the tricky part. Buying a car can be a lot of paperwork. This stage is also where people can get tripped up in legal red tape. To finalize a transaction on must go to the DMV and change the title. At the DMV you must make sure that the seller is authorized to sell the vehicle. Both parties must also agree to and abide by the agreed upon method of payment this is most important. Buying a car can be a tricky transaction but if done well, very worth your time. Dear Random Realtor, I live next to one of your commercial properties at 1234 Made up St. that is now a Mexican Restaurant. The former occupants of this property were a quiet Indian restaurant, lovely people. For the last two months your new tenants have made life unbearable in the neighborhood and I am at my whits end. I don’t disapprove of the ethnicity of the new tenants, I take issue with how they run their business. The Mexican restaurant in question is open much later than before. The hours wouldn’t be as bothersome if it wasn’t for the loud music until very late (4am on weekends)! The new tenants have a fully stocked bar and sell a lot of margaritas, leading to dramatically higher levels in drunken customers vandalizing and terrorizing the neighborhood. These same customers park in our buildings parking lot and litter on our property. The restaurants trash is also overflowing into our buildings dumpster. Please speak to the owner of the restaurant to take steps to better this situation before I need to involve the authorities or the better business bureau. Sincerely, Your neighbor
