Commentary: I met up with my project facilitator and we discussed the dates for the flu shot clinic. I then went on my own and made flyers to advertise for the clinic. I put them up in the store and took some to the other store locations. After I sat down with my facilitator again and we came up with another time to meet with the nurse I would be shadowing at the clinic. After that I also made pamphlets to hand out at the clinic with facts out vaccinations.

Northside Pharmacy- Waleska
Activity: Northside Pharmacy Flu Shot Clinic
Commentary: I spent an hour setting up for the clinic, making sure the nurse had everything she needed. Then assisted the few that were already there with the paper work. The clinic then began and I stood by the nurse, opening bandages, handing her a cotton ball for bleeding, and making sure the biohazard container was in reach so she could discard each syringe. At the end, I gathered all of the paper work from each patient we had throughout the day and made sure everything was filled out on the sheets.
