Agglomerated bodies obtained by extrusion of a mixed composition of granulated cork of 2-6mm / binder / and agglomerating additives. For the application of the discs in the agglomerated body it´s used a binder for assuring a perfect cohesion DESINFECTION: For the improvement of the sensory of the granulated cork, with consequent reduction of the contaminants with unaccepted sensory impact ( namely the 2,4,6 – TCA ) as well as the macrobiotic influence, the granulated cork are submitted to a thermodynamic process ( with steam ) for its cleaning and deodorization. WASHING: Peroxide of Hydrogen, Catalyses rand Neutralizers. (All the products are according the FDA/CEE regulations) SIZES/QUALITIES: The 1+1 cork stoppers are usually produced in the sizes: 40x23,5mm; 40x23mm; 44x23,5mm and 44x23mm (or according the request of the client). The visual quality is defined according the quality of the discs, exiting as standard following qualities: A, B, C, C/D E D. Other qualities can be prepared under specific request of client and based in pre-approved reference samples.
