John is an amazing Personal fitness trainer, that I have learned so much from! I could not have found a more perfect facilitator.
Training a cancer survivor
Donna is a three time cancer survivor. In this picture I am motivating her to build back up her upper body strength, so everyday activities like lifting things around the house will become easier for her.
Gym machines with James and Grant
This picture captures a lot of the workout machines I had the people I was training use. I taught them the proper way to use the machines, and then motivated them to push themselves to there limit.
Stephen doing his favorite pose
Stephen told he I am his greatest motivation to becoming a bodybuilder. Ever since I got him into lifting, he works out two hours a day, almost ever day. He said one day he hopes to not only be as good as me, but even better.
Stephen working on abs
The biggest goal Stephen has is getting really ripped abs. I have taught him many different abs workouts, and told him about basic nutrition that will help him lose body fat. He is pushing himself everyday to get the body I have motivated him to get.
Working past Grant’s disability
Grant fell off a roof a year ago and broke his arm in three places. Once he finally got out of the cast his arm has been weak. Grant came to me wanting to learn how to workout and get his strength back. In this picture you can see his scare. I had to figure out how to adjust and work around his disability. With in a week we saw some good results on his arm getting stronger again.
Stephen’s great accomplishment
When I first started training Stephen his bench press max was at 115 lbs. I helped teach him better form and how to build strength in his chest. Stephen’s bench max is now 185 lbs!
Pull ups with Omar
Omar wanted me to help train him at getting better at doing pull ups. I spent time showing him different workouts that would strengthen the certain muscles used to do pull ups. I set a goal of getting 10 pulls ups for him. He is currently at 8 pull ups.
Building the core
After all of Donna’s cancer treatments, her whole inner core was wiped out. In this picture it shows me helping her do medicine ball sit ups to build back up her core.
