Application questions could be asked like this: Instead of asking
“give two disadvantages of DDBMS?” we might ask “Which two challenges might TUT’s ITS users encounter if DDBMS is used?”
Then you must be able to relate DDBMS dis/advantages as could be experienced by a certain ITS user.
Know symbols and usage of Data Modelling (Chen & Crow’s foot)
Motivate which attribute could be a primary key
represent normalized entities as entity schema, ERD or EERD (Advanced ERD);
In ERD/EERD, which attributes could be left without losing the story told by those diagrams OR which attributes must be included to clarify the story told by the diagram.
