(908) 917-9083 email@example.comTo Whom It May Concern:
I am a mature professional who is looking to get back into the job market after a lengthy period of time out of work.
From 2009 until August of 2012 I had acted as caregiver to my significant other. This will explain the lapse in my work history. After his passing it was time to get back to work.
For the last twenty years I have worked in the field of customer service. I have managed call centers, worked as a Certified Medical Assistant working the front desk, making appointments, answering telephones. I enjoyed working with patients and health care professionals. I was also an Administrative Assistant with High Point Partial Care and Program Manager in a group home facility. I found working with the Developmentally Disabled community during my tenure with Alternatives, Inc. very rewarding.
Having worked at AT&T I have a wide array of experience and knowledge. I am computer literate in MS Office, PowerPoint and Excel. I have experience in Marketing, Finance, Customer Care and Systems Support. I have excellent communication and organizational skills. My writing skills are also excellent. If you are looking for someone to organize your office or streamline your processes, I am your candidate.
Although I do not have a degree, I have learned a lot in my professional career and I can be a great mentor to the younger members of your staff. After my tenure with AT&T I obtained my Medical Assistant certification at SCVTI in 2004. I hope you will give serious consideration to my resume. I look forward to hearing from you.
My salary requirement is negotiable beginning at $18/hour. References are available upon request.
