Why join these communities?
So that your voice can be heard by USAID and its partners. Your knowledge and expertise is needed to help drive positive change in Liberia’s development.
What is a community of Practice? “A community of practice is a group of people who share a concern or a passion for something they do, and learn how to do it better as they interact regularly.” – Etienne Wenger-Trayner
Join Our Communities of Practice
• What are the MAJOR DEVELOPMENT challenges in your sector?
• How can donors improve their impact and make development more effective?
• What is working and what is not?
• How can we work together to address these challenges?
We will be hosting a series of interesting events that will include key note speakers, panel discussions and a documentary series; with a dynamic group of professionals from civil society, government, international organizations and the private sector. There will be 4 Communities of Practice:
Democracy Rights & Governance
We want you to be a part of this discussion and share with each other and USAID the successes and failures of development programming. Let’s take what we have learned and share with members of your community. Not just within your organization but throughout the different sectors of development to make all partners more effective. Creating a network of individual contributors who can cut across various issues and help move Liberia forward.
