Innovation at Microsoft: Getting from Now to Next
We live in a world of unlimited opportunity as technology is becoming increasingly pervasive at home, at work, and all around us. Our industry does not respect tradition, only innovation. Microsoft is at the forefront of driving an invisible revolution, where increases in our capabilities are powered by technology that moves further and further out of sight. This invisible revolution has only become possible because of technologies that didn’t exist a decade or so ago, such as massive cloud computing centres and recent discoveries in the field of artificial intelligence. But fundamentally, the problems it will solve are ones that humans have struggled with forever. We will discuss how Microsoft is empowering every person and organisation on the planet with breakthroughs in AI, augmented reality, quantum computing, global scale cloud computing, more personal and pervasive computing.
Jonathan Collinge, @dotjson Microsoft Technical Evangelist Joni is a Technical Evangelist at Microsoft. He currently works with a range of customers to build next generation cloud systems which go beyond the capabilities of traditional infrastructure. His background is as a Software Engineer, working on both the Microsoft and OSS stacks. This has driven his passion for bridging the gap between the two traditionally distinct worlds and encouraging openness within Microsoft.

Title - Living the dream: Real world DevOps with Azure and VSTS
The dream of any DevOps solution is to make the provisioning and deployment to environments seamless. In this session I will show you how this dream can be achieved using the latest advances in Visual Studio Team Services and Azure.
I will show how you can use utilise Azure Resource Templates to define your environment then the latest features of VSTS Release Management to create an end to end deployment of your environment and application, with appropriate testing.
