Fuel cells are a source of power to meet the increasing demands for power. Experiments were run using high-density NaBH4 fuel and SOC oxidant in a microfluidic fuel cell. The results confirmed the analytical results that five times less SOC produced ten times the current and similar power compared to the previously used Cerium Ammonium Nitrate (CAN) oxidant.
