My facilitator, Lesley Carmichael, and I.
Here is me first introducing myself to Mrs. Carmichael’s fourth grade class. In the beginning, I was a bit nervous to start and I wasn’t very good at talking in front of a large group(no matter what their age).
In this picture, I am reading instructions for a worksheet to the class while they listen intently.
I was handing out worksheets to the kids that would go along with the current story they were reading. Unfortunately, due to conflicting schedules, we had to change the lesson for the students.
In this photograph, I am seen with one of the two groups of students I was teaching. We were reading a fictional story about a boy who had just found a new planet. The story connected with our lesson about space.
All of the students took turns reading parts from the story. After finishing the story, we sat and discussed it. I asked the students questions and they answered, giving me their thoughts and input.
Pictured is my facilitator and I going over some of the students’ test that they took for the final part of my lesson.
Here I am showing my mentor my PowerPoint containing all the information from the lesson I had been teaching to her class for my product.
In this photo, Mrs. Carmichael is seen looking over my PowerPoint containing all the different aspects of my lesson in it.
