Finding the Mail Tile
Select ‘Mail’ from the App Launcher, known sometimes as ‘waffle’ or ‘9 squares’, from a Microsoft Page
Select the Mail App from the Office 365 page
The first time you access your e-mail, you need to set your Language and Time Zone.
Language should be set as English (United Kingdom)
Coordinated Universal Time (UTC), is set at 00:00 for United Kingdom.
Select ‘Save’ when you have selected the correct dropdowns

Enter the e-mail address of the person you are sending the e-mail.
Copies another person into the e-mail.

Keep the message short and to the point.
Ending the e-mail:
From, Sincerely, Kind Regards, Best Wishes, Take Care…
What subject are you e-mailing about?
Type your main message in this section. Start with a greeting and end with a close. Remember capitals, punctuation and spelling.
Right click on the red squiggly line to correct your spelling.
How to Find the Mail Tile
You can use the formatting tools to help create your message. If you are not sure what the icon means, move your mouse over the icon and a description will appear.
Click on arrow for further options
Select the paper clip to add a document and the picture icon to add a picture.
How to Send your E-mail
Check your work, including spelling. Once ready, select the ‘Send’ button.

You must include the subject, greeting, message and closing line.

Your Inbox is where you receive your e-mails.
Sent Items is where all the e-mails you have sent are stored.
Drafts keeps e-mails you have been working on but have not sent.
Select the downward arrow to view Groups you are included in.
How to Reply to an E-mail
Select Reply to answer to the sender only.
Select Forward to sent the e-mail on to another person.
On reading an e-mail sent to you, you can choose to select ‘Reply all’ which will send your reply to everyone included in the original e-mail.
Or you can select the downward arrow to reply (recommended).
Reply to an E-mail
Reply to the e-mail sent to you by your partner. Remember to thank your partner for sending the e-mail.
You must include a greeting, message and closing line. Do not worry about adding a subject line as this has already been created by your partner.
