Find the OneDrive Tile
Select the OneDrive App from the Office 365 page
Or you can select the OneDrive App from the App Launcher, often known as ‘the waffle’ or ‘9 squares’.

Create a New Folder
Folders can be created to organise and share work.
From the top menu in your OneDrive, select New>Folder.
When you create a folder, you must give it a name.
How to Share with your Teacher
Select your folder
Select the ellipsis (…)
Enter the username/e-mail of your teacher.
You can add a message to describe the document you are sharing (Optional).
When you are ready, select Share.
Create & Share a Folder with your Teacher
Create a folder to share with your teacher (New>Folder).
Name it after your: [Year group] Full Name.
Share it with your teacher – you will required your teacher’s username/e-mail.

Create a PowerPoint
To open your folder:
Hover over and the folder name when a line appears underneath.
Select New>PowerPoint Presentation.
Select, when your folder shows a line underneath
Your document automatically saves to your OneDrive. The first thing you should do is rename your file as it will be easier to find in your OneDrive.
1. Select the title found at the top of your PowerPoint.
2. Select again to rename your document. In this example, rename your PowerPoint as the title of your class project.
Create a PowerPoint from your folder
Open your folder and select New>PowerPoint Presentation.
Rename your PowerPoint to reflect your class topic.
How to Share a File
After renaming your Presentation, you can now share and work with a partner or group, anywhere, anytime.
Select to share
To work together keep ‘Can edit’ selected.
Enter the username/e-mail of each person you are sharing with.
You can add a message to describe the file you are sharing (Optional).
How to Find a Shared File
Once a file has been shared with you, from the left panel on your OneDrive, select ‘Shared with Me’ or check your e-mail inbox for an e-mail with a link to the shared file.
If you can’t see the left menu, you will see a box with three lines. Select this to find ‘Shared with me’.
Editing the ‘Shared with Me’ File
Select the file name to open the file.
Find and Select ‘Edit Presentation’
Choose ‘Edit in Browser’
Edit in PowerPoint – Opens PowerPoint installed on your computer. You will be required to re-enter your sign-in details to edit your PowerPoint.
Edit in Browser – Allows you to edit the PowerPoint Online. This has less features available, but allows you to edit quickly with no sign-in required.
Your teacher will put you into groups of two or more. You will be working together in PowerPoint to show what you have learned so far about your class project.
One pupil from each pair/group will be chosen to share their presentation.
Give the chosen pupil your username/e-mail so they can share with you.
Now you can work in a group ‘Real time’. You can see your partner typing in front of your eyes!
Select ‘New Slide’ so that you each have your own slide to work on.
Add text to describe your topic learning.
Insert a picture using the ‘Insert’ tab and ‘Online Pictures’ option. Search and choose a picture by selecting it & ‘Insert’.
Choose a theme.
You can collaborate with Word and Excel in the same way.
