Activity: For this part of my project we got together and we trained. Before my facilitator put me in a real-life situation me and her decide that we should train before. So, my facilitator came to my home and we began to practice how I would approach a situation of uncertainty, where I did not know where a person is armed or not. She taught me how to search a vehicle that under suspicion of having drugs. She put me in fake scenarios to get me ready to do it on my own.
When we start doing my training I began to realize very quickly that this job take a lot of focus. To be successful in this felid you must be aware of all your surroundings. It was kind of hard to adapt to that type environment, vs being in the very upbeat happy environment that I am used to.
