Chinese Worker who may be dealing with the stress of diversity with a co-worker.
Too many co-workers are afraid of losing face or being wrong to admit that there is a problem so they stay quiet.
Chinese workers take naps after lunch, usually 1 ½ hrs long. Long work day
“Guanxi” or favor in hiring or promoting employees or new hires is usually done in China.
More companies are moving to hire women, minorities, people with disabilities and various other differences.
Through diversity training , employees are learning to bridge the gap of difference.
People need to embrace each others differences and learn from one another.
Through the Rainbow Coalition program and other diversity programs , people are learning to reach out to other cultures and people around the world. Culture is marriage, religion, food, race, language, style, music, morals or anything that makes up a group.
