Amagi Projects manifesto.
From the concerns about three situations apparently independent;
The situation which many young people (and not so young too) have to face when entering the labour market; temporary contracts, seasonal jobs, or low salaries that barely do to live with.
The abandon situation that many rural areas are in, facing risk of depopulation with the coming risk of losing all knowledge and traditions that rural life implies.
The lack of spaces for artistic expression, of education and sustainable agriculture (permaculture)
With these three situations in mind, Amagi Projects have thought about how we can solve these problems;
Motivating people who are unemployed, underemployed or just motivated to create a change, to travel and educate themselves in multicultural contexts, non formal education, and get inspired by them.
Driving this motivation towards the development of a “rural lifestyle”, or to the recuperation of urban spaces and traditional resources.
Transforming this new rural or urban space into centres for artistic expression, ecologic agriculture and education for a sustainable lifestyle.
With this, we aim…;
To improve the access to the labour market through the international experience, and reduce the tension and frustration these people suffer by implementing their own initiatives in the new space.
To attract population and visitors to areas in abandon situation, improving the infrastructures with the funds raised through Amagi Projects initiatives and everyone associated to them, while also attracting international investors in the fields of arts, culture or sustainability.
To promote the self consumption through the practice of permaculture and the personal growth through art and contact with nature.
