About Jon Yeo
Since 2009, Jon Yeo has been the curator and license holder for TEDxMelbourne, an independently organised TED event. Today, TEDxMelbourne events fill 1500 seat auditoriums in days and still holds a State Library record sell out of 90 minutes. Over that period Jon has worked with every speaker developing their short talk format and stage craft. Working with speakers, Jon has routinely helped speakers deliver standing ovations to a highly critical, expectant TED audiences. Jon is selected to represent the ANZ region for TEDx organisers at the official TED events and attends TEDx organisers "best practice" summits all over the world.
Outside of TEDxMelbourne, Jon Yeo is the Intelligence behind the art and science of what it is to be a public speaker. He helps Executives and Leaders to articulate and present the sophistication of their content with a message simplicity that guides and inspires their teams. He is also an experience designer helping businesses and conferences create "innovation sessions" within their organisation or event.
Jon volunteers as Chapter President of the Professional Speakers Australia delivering coaching and workshops including the Top 25 speakers of the PSA (Aus/NZ). He works internationally with leaders, salespeople and young social entrepreneurs to “Deliver Messages with Impact”.
He has a passion for supporting youth, youth-at-risk, education and social enterprise.
