Old Hall Hotel Coventry Phase 1 and 2
The contract involved the refurbishment / upgrading of an 1800 Victorian listed building which had falling in to disrepair due to a fire. Phase 1 was to up grading the existing building to a 10 bed hotel with conference room and restaurants catering for 50 people
The building of a below ground 40 bedroom hotel linked to the existing listed building. I was employed to design the Multislit and VRF Ventilation system and Domestic water services, for the two Phases.
The refurbishment of a 65 Bedroom Outward Bound Center, This involved the replacement and upgrading of the existing Heating Ventilation and Domestic Services.

Work as a member of the design team responsible for the design of all services (HVAC Steam Medical gases) my involvement was the design of all DHWS Supply and Extract systems from the Basement up to the 4th floor.
Reason for leaving, the work load was coming to an end my son was due to arrive in the UK from Australia. As I would have been taking a number of weeks off, I felt it would be the best interest for the team and myself to leave.

Six new schools. This involved all calculations drawing, writing stranded specifications/ specifying all plant and equipment to be installed. Attend site progress meeting and oversee the insulation and progress of the contracts.
The complete refurbishment of three Schools. Alterations Classrooms/W.C. Shower areas this involved surveying all H&V services within the buildings overseeing the stripping out of all existing plant and equipment. Drawing up all new pipe runs and positioning of all plant and equipment in the building. Writing up stranded specifications and specifying all new plant and equipment to be installed. Attend all site progress meeting and oversee the insulation and progress of the contracts.
The alterations to a number of care homes i.e. room layouts. Design of new care homes responsibility/involvement Drawing, Specifications, Plant and Equipment.
As this type of contract was new to the department a full survey of the property had to be carried out by myself. On completion the work. A full Specifications was draw up by myself documenting all plant and equipment to be covered on a day to day maintenance contract. The building covered by the contract included 229,231, 235. Gorge Street and Glasgow City Chambers. My involvement in the contract, once the documentation had been drawn up, was to manage the day to day maintenance
