How did I get here in this strange place?
Here I search to find a kind face.
This land and terrain are strange and new.
Standing amazed my mind is renewed.
One moment screams, there is no way,
The other encourages, do not sway.
Do you also feel the burning in your chest?
Do you find it hard to let your mind rest?
Let it Be, words of wisdom rattle in my mind.
The balance of life seems to unwind.
Before my very eyes the whole world shifts
Over and over, bit by bit.
Reality bends in a warrior pose
In a moment you are in the throes
Human emotion that runs so deep,
Your hearts try to hide, the secret to keep.
Hope reaches out in a ray of sunlight
Another day dawned, renewed morning sight
As night finally yawns, surrendering gray
The sun come up, you have another day.
