Recent Employment Experience.
My position in the organization as the Department Project Coordinator and Contract Administrator included assisting field project managers and operations from conception to completion of each project This included drafting and reviewing proposals, contract administration, meeting project objectives, developing scope of work, working in conjunction with procurement in the delivery of material and supplies, reviewing plans for accuracy, drafting RFI’s and PCO as well as updating clients project management software. Additionally, required were weekly operations meetings with the CEO, Operations Manager, Facilities Manager and Lead project manager for project status updates.
The newly created construction division formed in October 2015 was specifically created to oversee the planning, scheduling and project management of contracts awarded by retail service specialist on behalf of Southland Corporation -7 Eleven. On June 17th 2016 I was laid off from this position due to lack of awarded contracts in conjunction with delayed start dates of awarded contracts thus making the creation of the newly formed department no longer financially feasible.
I found enjoyment in my work, adapted and perfected new business skills in ever-changing environment. Unfortunately, the restructuring of contracts necessitated placing them on hold indefinitely no longer making it financially feasible for a construction division resulting in the termination of my position.
As a task and goal oriented individual with an emphasis on time management, performance and productivity I am confident the position of Project Coordinator with your organization will be a great fit personally and professionally.
