Experience and become familiar with the many ways prayer can happen.
Fr. Ed Smith’s personal experience with healing by prayer, strengthened his interest in the healing ministry. Ordained as a Deacon in 1983, and Priest in 1996 he made healing prayer a part of every event during his sixteen years as Youth Coordinator and at parishes he served at.
Now serving as Interim Pastor at St. John’s, he continues in the healing ministry; he is an active member of the Order of St. Luke the Physician.
In the OSL we believe Jesus heals today, as he did when He walked this earth many centuries go.

A Relaxing Day Among Friends
St. John’s is a warm, loving community where all people are welcomed and affirmed. Our mission is to be a center for spiritual enrichment. We have Sunday services at 8:30 & 10:30, prayer & Bible groups, and offer healing prayer.
“…there are many ways prayer can happen. My hope is that each person will be able to identify which method(s) best suit their spirituality, personality, and gifts.”
Fr. Ed Smith
