One Click Importing – once importing begins you can safely exit the browser and view the progress on another device.
Click generate new mapping file
Click add table button to display list of available tables
Choose a table to add to the mapping file
Select file’s to upload to the server for mapping, file’s will be saved on the server.
Click Upload File(s) to begin the upload process
Select sheet and hit map fields button
Map fields accordingly by selecting drop down menu’s and specifying any static fields, when all fields are mapped click the add table to config button
Click the export configuration file button, note more tables can be added before exporting the configuration file
Choose a filename and click the export file button
If the filename already exists you will be prompted to over-write or cancel
Once the configuration file has been uploaded to the server you will be redirected to the ‘View Mapping File’ page, from here click the button labelled view to display the mapping file XML
After confirming mapping is correct close this window by clicking the x in the top right corner, alternatively if your screen size is too small the XML will be displayed on an entire page if this is the case you can click the back button in the bottom left corner
Click the import records button to begin the import
Will the import is in progress it is safe to exit this window, if you come back to the import records page you will be able to see the progress of the current import. To prevent dead-locks in the database only one set of records can be imported at a time.
After the import has completed you will be shown a status of the import, click the view logs button to view a comprehensive break down of the import
In this window you can see up to five previous imports, if the amount of imports exceeds five the oldest import log file will be deleted to prevent performance issue’s, click the view log button to continue
In this window all the log information is displayed, this information can be sorted click the show errors checkbox to hide the errors
As you can see the errors are now hidden, re-check the show errors checkbox and un-check the show logs check box
Now only the errors are displayed
