How to build Gods’ house
God’s Covenant with Abram
Genesis 12:1-3 Now the Lord had said to Abram: “Get out of your country, from your family and from your father’s house to a land that I will show you. (2) I will make you a great nation; I will bless you and make your name great; and you shall be a blessing. (3) I will bless those who bless you, and I will curse him who cures you; and in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed.”
Genesis 15:2-4 But Abram said, “Lord God, what will you give me, seeing I go childless, and the heir of my house is Eliezer of Damascus?” (3) Then Abram said, “Look, God You have given me no offspring: indeed, one born in my house is my heir!” (4) And behold, the word of the Lord came to him, saying. “This one shall not be your heir, but one who will come from your own body shall be your heir.” (8) And he said, “Lord God, how shall I know that I will inherit it?” (13) Then He said to Abram: “know certainly that your descendants will be strangers in a land that is not theirs, and will serve them, and they will afflict them four hundred years.
God delivers Israel out of Captivity through Moses
Exodus 12:41-42 And it came to pass at the end of the four hundred and thirty years on that very same day it came to pass that all the armies of the Lord went out from the land of Egypt. (42) It is a night of solemn observance to the Lord for bringing them out of the land of Egypt. This is that night of the Lord, a solemn observance for all the children of Israel throughout their generations.
Exodus 25:8-9 “And let them make Me a sanctuary, that I may dwell among them (9) “According to all that I show you, that is, the pattern of the tabernacle and the pattern of all its furnishings, just so you shall make it.
Israel either blessed or cursed
Deuteronomy 30:15-20 “See,” I have set before you today life and good, death and evil, (16) “In that I command you today to love the Lord your God, to walk in His ways, and to keep His commandments, His statues, and His judgments, that you may live and multiply; and the Lord your God will bless you in the land which you go to possess. (17) But if your heart turns away so that you do not hear, and are drawn away, and worship other gods and serve them, (18) I announce to you today that you shall surely perish; you shall not prolong your days in the land which you cross over the Jordan to go in and possess. (19) “I call heaven and earth as witnesses today against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing; therefore choose life, that both you and your descendants many live; (20) “That you may love the Lord your God, that you may obey His voice, and that you may cling to Him, for He is your life and the length of your days; which the Lord swore to your fathers, to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, to give them.”
1:8 Give ear, O my people, to my law; incline your ears to the words of my mouth. (2) I will open my mouth in a parable; I will utter dark sayings of old, (3) which we have heard and known, and our fathers have told us. (4) We will not hide them from their children, telling to the generation to come the praises of the Lord, and His strength and His wonderful works that He has done. (5) For He established a testimony in Jacob, and appointed a law in Israel which He commanded our fathers, that they should make them known to their children; (6) That the generation to come might know them. The children who would be born, that they may arise and declare them to their children, (7) that they may set their hope in God, and not forget the works of God, but keep His commandments; (8) And may not be like their fathers, a stubborn and rebellious generation, a generation that did not set its heart aright, and whose spirit was not faithful to God. (68) But chose the tribe of Judah Mount Zion which He loved. (69) And He built His sanctuary like the heights, like the earth which He has established forever. (70) He also chose David His servant, and took him from the sheepfolds; (71) From following the ewes that had young He brought him, to shepherd Jacob His people, and Israel His inheritance. (72) So he shepherded them according to the integrity of his heart, and guided them by the skillfulness of his hands.
How God’s house was built
The first Temple
I Chronicles 17:1-2 Now it came to pass, when David was dwelling in his house, that David said to Nathan the prophet,” see now, I dwell in a house of cedar, but he ark of the covenant of the Lord is under tent curtains.” (2) Then Nathan said to David, “Do all that is in your heart, for God is with you.” (10) Furthermore I tell you that the Lord will build you a house. (13) “I will be his Father, and he shall be My son; (14) “And I will establish him in My house and in My kingdom forever; and his throne shall be established forever.”
I Kings 5:1 Now Hiram king of Tyre sent his servants to Solomon, because he heard that they had anointed him king in place of his father, for Hiram had always loved David. (2) Then Solomon sent to Hiram, saying: (3) you know how my father David could not build a house for the name of the Lord his God because of the wars which were fought against him on every side, until the Lord put his foes under the soles of his feet. (5) And behold, I propose to build a house for the name of the Lord my God, as the Lord my God, as the Lord spoke to my father David, saying, “Your son, whom I will set on your throne in your place, he shall build the house for My name.”
Gods’ Covenant with Israel
I Kings 9:4 “Now if you walk before Me as your father David walked, in integrity of heart and in uprightness, to do according to all that I have commanded you, and if you keep My statues and My judgments, (5) ‘Then I will establish the throne of your kingdom over Israel forever, as I promise David your father, saying, ‘you shall not fail to have a man on the throne of Israel.’ (6) ‘But if you or your sons at all turn from following Me, and do not keep My commandments and My statutes which I have set before you, but go and serve other gods and worship them, (7) ‘Then I will cut off Israel from the land which I have given them; and this house which I have consecrated for My name I will cast out of My sight. Israel will be a proverb and a byword among all peoples. (8) ‘And as for this house, which is exalted, everyone who passes by it will be astonished and will hiss, and say, ‘why has the Lord done thus to this land and to this house? (9) ‘Then they will answer, ‘because they forsook the Lord their God, who brought their fathers out of the land of Egypt, and have embraced other gods, and worshiped them and served them therefore the Lord has brought all this calamity on them.”
Destruction of the first Temple
I Kings 11:1 But king Solomon loved many foreign women, as well as the daughter of Pharaoh: women of the Moabites, Ammonites, Edomites, Sidonians, and Hittites. (2) From the nations of whom the Lord had said to the children of Israel, “You shall not intermarry with them, nor they with you. Surely they will turn away your hearts after their god. But Solomon clung to these in love. (3) And he had seven hundred wives, princesses, and three hundred concubines; and his wives turned away his heart. (4) For Solomon went after Ashtoreth the goddess of the Sidonians, and after Milcom the abomination of the Amonites. (6) Solomon did evil in the sight of the Lord, and did not fully follow the Lord, as did his father David. (7) Then Solomon built a high place for Chemosh the abomination of Moab, on the hill that is east of Jerusalem, and for Molech the abomination of the people of Ammon. (11) Therefore the Lord said to Solomon, “Because you have done this, and have not kept My covenant and My statutes, which I have commanded you, I will surely tear the kingdom away from you and give it to your servant. (12) “Nevertheless I will not do it in your days, for the sake of your father David; I will tear it out of the hand of your son.
II Chronicles 36:15-16 And the Lord God of their fathers sent warnings to them by His messengers, rising up early and sending them, because He had compassion on His people and on His dwelling place. (16) But they mocked the messengers of God, despised His words, and scoffed at His prophets, until the wrath of the Lord arose against His people, till there was no remedy. (17) Therefore He brought against them the king of the Chaldeans, who killed their young men with the sword in the house of their sanctuary, and had no compassion on young man or virgin, on the aged or the weak; He gave them all into has hand. (18) And all the articles from the house of God, great and small, the treasures of the house of the Lord, and the treasures of the king and of his leaders, all these he took to Babylon. (19) Then they burned the house of God, broke down the wall of Jerusalem, burned all its places with fire, and destroyed all its precious possessions. (20) And those who escaped from the sword he carried away to Babylon, where they became servants to him and his sons until the rule of the king of Persia, (21) To fulfill the word of the Lord by the mouth of Jeremiah, until the land had enjoyed her Sabbaths. As long as she lay desolate she kept Sabbath, to fulfill seventy years.
Rebuilding of the Second Temple
II Chronicles 36:22-23 Now in the first year of Cyrus King of Persia, that the word of the Lord by the mouth of Jeremiah might be fulfilled, the Lord stirred up the spirit of Cyrus king of Persia, so that he made a proclamation throughout all his kingdom, and also put it in writing saying. (23) Thus says Cyrus king of Persia: All the Kingdoms of the earth the Lord God of heaven has given me, And He has commanded me to build Him a house at Jerusalem which is in Judah, who is among you of all His people? May the Lord his God be with him, and let him go up!
Ezra 1:1 Now in the first year of Cyrus king of Persia, that the word of the Lord by the mouth of Jeremiah might be fulfilled…
Prophet Jeremiah predicts construction of temple
Jeremiah 29:10 For thus says the Lord: After seventy years are completed at Babylon, I will visit you and perform My good word toward you, and cause you to return to this place.
Satan opposes Gods’ work
Ezra 4:1 Now when the adversaries of Judah and Benjamin heard that the descendants of the captivity were building the temple of the Lord God of Israel, (2) They came to Zerubbabel and the heads of the fathers’ houses, and said: Let us build with you. (3) But Zerubbabel said “nothing doing. (4) So the people of the land tried to discourage the people of Judah, they troubled them in building, (5) They hired counselors against them to frustrate their purpose all the days of Cyrus king of Persia even until the reign of Darius king of Persia (7) In the days of Artaxerxes also.
Ezra7:8 And Ezra came to Jerusalem in the fifth month, which was in the seventh year of King Artaxerxes (10) For Ezra had prepared his heart to seek the Law of the Lord, and to do according to all that was written in the Law of God. (13) I king Artaxerxes issue a decree to go up to Jerusalem to begin building the temple. (King Artaxerxes decree 457B.C.)
Gods’ Prophet Nehemiah
Nehemiah 2:1 And it came to pass in the month of Nisan, in the twentieth year of King Artaxerxes, when wine was before him, that I took the wine and gave it to the king. Now I had never been sad in his presence before. (2) Therefore the king said to me, why is your face sad, since you are not sick? This is nothing but sorrow of heart. “So I became dreadfully afraid, (3) And said to the king, May the king live forever! Why should my face not be sad, when the city, the place of my fathers” tombs, lies waste, and its gates are burned with fire?” (4) Then the king said to me, “what do you request? “So I prayed to the God of heaven. (5) And I said to the king, “if it pleases the king, and if your servant has found favor in your sight, I ask that you send me to Judah, to the city of my fathers’ tombs, that I may rebuild it.:
Gods’ Prophet Haggai
Haggai 1:1 In the second year of King Darius, in the sixth month, on the first day of the month, the word of the Lord came by Haggai the prophet to Zerubabel the son of Shealtiel, governor of Judah, and to Joshua the son of Jehozadak, the high priest, saying, (2) “thus speaks the Lord of hosts, saying: ‘This people says, “The time has not come, the time that the Lord’s house should be built” (3) then the word of the Lord came by Haggai the prophet, saying, “(4) Is it time for you yourselves to dwell in your paneled houses, and this temple to lie in ruins?”(5) Now therefore thus says the Lord of host ‘consider your ways!’ (8) ‘Go up to the mountains and bring wood and build the temple, that I may take pleasure in it and be glorified,’ says the Lord.
Haggai 2:1 In the seventh month, on the twenty first of the month, the word of the Lord came by Haggai the prophet, saying: “speak now to Zerubbable the son of Shealtiel, governor of Judah, and to Joshua the son of Jehozadak, the high priest, and to the remnant of the people saying (3) who is left among you who saw this temple in its former glory? And how do you see it now? In comparison with it, is this not in your eyes as nothing? (4) Yet now be strong, Zerubbabel all the people for I am with you. (7) And I will shake all nations, and they shall come to the Desire of all Nations, and I will fill this temple with glory, says the Lord of hosts. (8) The silver is Mine, and the gold is Mine, says the Lord of hosts. (9) The glory of this latter temple shall be greater than the former says the Lord of hosts. And in this place I will give peace, says the Lord of Hosts.”
Zerubbabel laid the temple foundation
Zechariah 3:1-14 Now the angel who talked with me came back and wakened me, as a man who is wakened me, out of his sleep. (2) And he said to me, “what do you see?” So I said, “I am looking, and there is a lampstand of solid gold with a bowl on top of it, and on the stand seven lamps with seven pipes to the seven lamps. (3) “Two olive trees are by it, one at the right of the bowl and the other at tits left.” (4) So I answered and spoke to the angel who talked with me, saying,” what are these, my lord?” (5) Then the angel who talked with me answered and said to me, “Do you not know what these are?” And I said, “No, my lord,” (6) So he answered and said to me; “This is the word of the Lord to Zerubbabel: ‘Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit,’ says the Lord of hosts, (7) Who are you, O’ great mountain? Before Zerubbabel you shall become a plain!”’ (8) Moreover the word of the Lord came to me, saying: (9) ‘The hands of Zerubbabel have laid the foundation of this temple; his hands shall also finish it. Then you will know that the Lord of hosts has sent Me to you. (10) For who has despised the day of small things? For these seven rejoice to see the plumb line in the hand of Zerubbabel. They are the eyes of the Lord, which scan to and fro throughout the whole earth.” (11) Then I answered and said to him, ‘what are these two olive trees and the right of the lampstand and at its left?” (12) And I further answered me and said, “Do you not know what these are?” And I said, “No my Lord.” (14) So he said, “These are the two anointed ones, who stand beside the Lord of the whole earth.”
“And I will give power to my two witnesses, and they will prophesy one thousand two hundred and sixty days, clothed in sackcloth.” These are the two olive trees and the two lampstands standing before the God of the earth. And if anyone wants to harm them, fire proceeds from their mouth and devours their enemies. And if anyone wants to harm them, he must be killed in this manner. These have power to shut heaven, so that no rain falls in the days of their prophecy; and they have power over waters to turn them to blood. And to strike the earth with all plagues, as often as they desire.
No weapon form against me shall prosper, and every tongue against you in judgment you shall condemn, this is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is from Me “says the Lord.
“And I also say to your that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build My church, and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it. And I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.”
Gods’ Prophecy revealed to Daniel
Daniel 9:2 In the first year of Darius reign I, Daniel, understood by the books the number of the years specified by the word of the Lord through Jeremiah the prophet, that He would accomplish seventy years in the desolations of Jerusalem.
Daniel 9:20 Now while I was speaking, praying, and confessing my sins and the sins of my people Israel, and presenting my supplication before the Lord my God for the holy mountain of my God, (21) Yes, while I was speaking in prayer, the man Gabriel, whom I had seen in the vision at the beginning, being caused to fly swiftly, reached me about the time of the evening offering, with me, and said, “O Daniel, I have come forth to give you skill to understand. (23) “at the beginning of your supplications, the command went out, and I have come to tell you, for you are greatly beloved; therefore consider the matter, and understand the vision: (24) “seventy weeks are determined for your people and for your holy city, to finish the transgression, to make and end of sins, to make reconciliation for iniquity, to bring in everlasting righteousness, to seal up vision and prophecy, and to anoint the Most Holy. (25) “Know therefore and understand, that from the going forth of the command to restore and build Jerusalem until Messiah the Prince, there shall be seven weeks and sixty-two weeks; the street shall be built again, and the wall, even in troublesome times. (26) “And after the sixty-two weeks Messiah shall be cut off, but not for Himself; and the people of the prince who is to come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary. The end of it shall be with a flood, and till the end of the war desolations are determined. (27) Then he shall confirm a covenant with many for one week; but in the middle of the week He shall bring an end to sacrifice and offering. And on the wing of abominations shall be one who makes desolate, even until the consummation, which is determined, is poured out of the desolate.”
Seventy weeks are determined
To finish transgressions Isaiah 53:5 He was wounded for our transgressions
To make and end of sins 1 John 1:9 If we confess our sins He forgives us…
To make reconciliation for iniquity Romans 11:15 He reconciled us back from the dead
To bring in everlasting righteousness Jeremiah 33:16 He’s called the Lord our Righteousness
To seal up vision and prophecy 2 Timothy 2:19 Having His seal let us depart from sins…
To anoint the Most Holy Luke 4:18 The Spirit of the Lord was upon Him…
“The secret things belong to the Lord our God, but those things which are revealed belong to us and to our children forever that we may do all the words of his law.
The secret of the Lord is with those who fear Him, and He will show them His covenant.
Many shall be purified, made white, and refined but the wicked shall do wickedly, and none of the wicked shall understand, but the wise shall understand.
Daniel 9:24 Seventy weeks are determined for your people and for your holy city in which Christ fulfilled prophecy. 2 Peter 1:19 We have a prophetic written word which we do well to heed like a light which God shines in a dark place. I Corinthians 2:10 “The Holy Spirit reveals all things”. In prophecy a day equals one year for example: Ezekiel 4:6 I appointed thee each day for a year. Genesis 29:27 “fulfill her week” “means seven years” (7days= 7years). Another example: Numbers 14:34 According to the number of the days in which you spied out the land, forty days, for each day you shall bear your guilt one year, namely forty years. Numbers 14:22 Because all these men who have seen My glory and the signs which I did in Egypt and in the wilderness, and have put Me to the test now these ten times. (forty days x ten=forty years).
So seventy weeks are determined prophetically! (Seventy x Seven= 490 years). Daniel 9:25 “know therefore and understand, that from the going forth of the command to restore and build Jerusalem until Messiah the Prince, there shall be (Seven weeks) and (Sixty-two weeks); (Seven x Seven= 49) + (Sixty- two x Seven = 434) (49 + 434= 483). Because 483 minus 27 = 457 B.C. This was when King Artaxerxes issued the decree to rebuild the temple. Because Christ was exactly 27/30 years old when He was Anointed by John the Baptist Matthew 3:13; Luke 3:1,21. Because of the Gregorian calendar there’s a 4 year difference; we also don’t count the 0 year between B.C. /A.D. (483-490=7) leaves a remainder of exactly one week. Daniel 9:27 Then he shall confirm a covenant with many for one week; but in the middle of the week He shall bring an end to sacrifice and offering. Romans 1:16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also the Gentiles. After Christ was Anointed by the Holy Spirit Luke 4:18 His ministry was only3 ½ years until the Jews who rejected Him; because John 2:19 Jesus said “I will destroy this temple and raise it in three days”. Daniel 9:26 after the sixty -two weeks Messiah life would be cut off. Daniel 9:27 Then He shall confirm a covenant with many for one week, but in the middle of the week His life would be cut off. Christ died at age 33. 1 Peter 2:6 The Stone which the builders had rejected became the chief cornerstone. Matthew 23:38 “says” Jerusalem was left desolate”. Luke19:41-44 Jesus wept because His chosen people Israel missed their time of visitation. Romans 10:19 So for 3 ½ years the gospel was preached to the gentiles to provoke Israel to jealously. 2 Peter 3:9 But God is longsuffering not will that any should perish. Matthews 24:2 And Jesus said to them, “do you not see all these things? Assuredly, I say to you, not one stone shall be left here upon another, that shall not be thrown down.” (4) He warn us not to be deceived. (8) He warned us these signs would be just the beginning of the great tribulation. (14) That this gospel of His kingdom would be preach then the end would come.
His blood of the New Covenant
Jeremiah 31:31-34 “Behold the days are coming says the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah. (32) “Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt. My covenant which they broke, though I was a husband to them, says the Lord. (33) “But this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, says the Lord: I will put My law in their minds, and write it on their hearts; and I will be their God and they shall be My people. (34) “No more shall every man teach his neighbor, and every man his brother, saying, “know the Lord, “for they all shall know Me, from the least of them to the greatest of them, says the Lord, For I will forgive their iniquity, and their sin I will remember no more.”
Hebrews 8:6-9 But now He has obtained a more excellent ministry, inasmuch as He is also Mediator of a better covenant, which was established on better promises. (7) For if that first covenant had been faultless, then no place would have been sought for a second. (8) Because finding fault with them, He says: “Behold, the days are coming, says the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah. (9) “Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day when I took them by the hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt; because they did not continue in My covenant, and I disregarded them, says the Lord.
Luke 22:17-20 Then He said to them, “with fervent desire I have desired to eat this Passover with you before I suffer; (18) “For I say to you, I will not drink of the fruit of the vine until the kingdom of God comes.” (19) And He took bread, gave thanks and broke it, and gave it to them, saying. “This is My body which is given for you; “this cup is the new covenant in My blood, which is shed for you.
Spirit of Prophecy
Revelation 12:19 For the Testimony of Jesus is the Spirit of Prophecy. 1 John 5:11 And this is the Testimony the God have given us His Son; He who has the Son hast life, he who hast not the Son of God hast not life. Hebrews 1:1-2 God, who at various times and in various ways spoke in time past to the fathers by the prophets. Has in these last days spoken to us by His Son, whom He has appointed heir of all things, through whom also He made the worlds.
Gospel of Jesus Christ
I Corinthians 15:3-4 For I delivered to you first of all that which I also received: that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures, (4) And that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures.
Acts 2:37-39 Now when they heard this, they were cut to the heart, and said to Peter and the rest of the apostles, “men and brethren, what shall we do?” (38) Then Peter said to them, “Repent and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit, “for the promise is to you and to your children, and to all who are afar off, as many as the Lord or God will call.” (46) continue daily in fellowship. Hebrews 10:25 Not forsaking the assembly of ourselves together as some do. Jesus said “there would be a falling away of the faith become Him coming 2 Thessalonians 2:3 Let no one deceive you by any means; for that Day will not come unless the falling away comes first, and the man of sin is revealed, the son of perdition. 1 John 2:19 They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would have continued with us; but they went out that they might be made manifest, that none of them were of us. (20) But you have an Anointing from the Holy One. Do not despise prophecy, do not quench the Spirit, do not grieve the Spirit nor resist the Spirit praying without ceasing. May God Bless you and keep you.be deceived. (8) He warned us these signs would be just the beginning of the great tribulation. (14) That this gospel of His kingdom would be preach then the end would come.
