Spiritual Thought: Melissa - porcelain house that just collected dust was broken. Jaromy took it and glued it back together and brought it back saying “This is the best I could do.” Likewise, we can try to accept whatever it is that others have to give as “the best they could”
Leadership Training: Sheri – 10.8.6 Young Women Camp … last week’s Girls Camp went really well

1) Laurels: Carli Houston (call to set up ministering visit)
Laurel class needs: Addy has been called as class president and has submitted counselors & secretary to Bishopric. Hopefully we have a presidency in place soon.
2) Mia Maids: Mary Hooper might need a little extra attention, feeling left out. Heidi Jensen enjoyed camp immensely, need to keep her involved and coming to church as much as possible. May go to Youth Conf

Report from Ward Council: Meeting schedules during Fort Collins Temple open house and dedication. Cultural Celebration kickoff fireside on July 10th at 6pm (youth, parents & leaders). Combined with YM next Sunday 7/10 after opening exercises to watch one of the celebration videos. Rehearsals for MB ward begin August 17th, schedule no other ward mid-week youth activities when rehearsals take place.
Here is some information from the last Ward Council meeting which Melissa attended …
Teaching in the Savior's Way. This replaces the Teaching No Greater Call manual -Sunday School class will be held once a month for all teachers/presidency members to attend either 2nd or 3rd hour. This takes the place of former teacher inservice training. It is ongoing and teachers need to attend every month. Handed out a manual don't have a start date yet.
Still wanting callings for people in the ward. Don't have to have a critical gap, just see if there is something available.
Young Women asked to help with 4th of July breakfast by bringing simple games.(I will bring a volleyball, basketball, beach ball, and a few lawn games) will be held at the Loveland Sports Park.
5th Sunday in July the bishopric will talk about ward emergency plan, (Didn't ask but do we need to plan a 5th Sunday for YM/YW)
Presidents are given access to two spread sheets regarding sacrament meeting topics. 1st is the official one they are turning in for the program. 2nd one is for presidents to make suggestions for topics and speakers.
Stake Youth Conference July 28-30 Alamosa. Age 14 and older. Seniors invited.
Headcount sent to Lisa Leonard. Bishop, Joel and Bro. Johnson unable to attend. Bro. Demke will attend with boys.
Helen, Melissa and Sheri will all attend and drive.
Need to send email to parents about needing letters for their youth attending youth conference. Heidi to send email.
Don’t forget about the Youth Conference Service Project Welcome Baskets for Refugees. Collection will end on Sunday July 10th.
