Who We Are
We are a 501(c)3 Non-profit Organization approved in February 2013. In the year of 2002, the Tyrell family came from Seattle Washington, as Missionaries to do missionary work. Later in our journey we resulted success over 13 years providing our community with sacrificial giving using our devoted time to reach out to our people. We are extending our love to the public which not only needs help, but needs the love and care they hope to find in a church family. With the rising violence in Anchorage, AK, we knew that the only answer is to overcome evil with good. Throughout these years, we provided and offered these programs to a group of people to collectively pursue our dreams and goals of outreaching to these lost souls to one day make them realize, God is the answer.

How do these programs benefit the community?
Mentoring Youth Program…
We are more focused on the Alaska’s rate of suicidal. Alaska has been one of the highest suicidal rate nation wide. Statistics says over 19.8% out of 100,000 of people were self-destructed. Most of these cruel news weighs more into our youths nowadays. We benefit the youth program by voluntarily allowing our Senior Pastor to visit public schools (Bartlett High School, Begich Middle School, etc.) setting counsel meetings with group of students providing them with wisdom of God, education tutoring, support and care. We believe love will initiate between students, faculties and especially their families and parents.
Senior Citizen Program…
We offer fitness, brunch and fun activities to remind our elders they are not forgotten. Providing the opportunity to come out of there homes twice a week to enjoy the outdoors and feel young. We also voluntarily donate food/clothing to Home Shepherd Care and Church elders/guests.
Celebrate Recovery Program…
It was designed as a program to help those struggling with hurts, habits and hang-ups by showing them the loving power of Jesus Christ through a recovery process. Celebrate Recovery has helped more than 17000 people at Saddleback, attracting over 70% of its members from outside the church. We the V.O.C has partnered up with Faith Christian Community to expand this program out to the community for those who are in need of support.

“What society needs is not more programs, but the Bible (thoughts of God), and make it become our thoughts. This will equal success.”- Pastor Pio Tyrell
Our Short Term Goal:
To continue to provide our services to the community. We are in dire need for more spaces in our current facility, as the needs escalade. It has been over 13 years voluntarily giving to the community, esp. in the area of Mt. View Anchorage, AK. We would like to continue to this outgrowing success in this time of need.
Our Long Term Goal:
To acquire a larger facility through our various fund raising initiatives, in hope to continue these community programs to enhance the success rate in Alaska rather it would be in education, health, support & care.
[Senior Citizen Program]
To love God, serving one another and bringing hope to the community.
To develop a strong family, which makes for a healthy community, resulting in a strong nation.
In pursuit of the vision…
Our goal is not to make temporary changes but permanent ones that will spill over to the next generation. We understand that if there are no positive changes today, there will be none for the future. Statistics have shown an unraveling of strong family bonding’s, which equates for the increase in violence around our communities and in our schools. We must ACT NOW to bring people hope and love, one individual at a time.
