To get from the visitor center to the beginning of upper path, lower path and Devil’s Throat, you will aboard a little train that runs from the visitor center to the paths and between each one of them. You may also walk from the visitor center to upper and lower paths, but you cannot walk to Devil’s Throat because it is located more than 4 kilometers from the visitor center. Note: tour with shared guide Great Adventure: This tour combines a jungle trip with a boat trip to the falls. Trip starts in the jungle of the National Park in 4 by 4 trucks without roof for best visibility of the trees and to take good photos. Then we take a zodiac boat to the lower Iguazu River upstream to discover the falls little by little with a panoramic view of the Iguazu Falls. Be prepared to get wet under the falls! Afternoon return to your hotel. Note: this boat tour involves some light trekking and climbing of steep stairs. You need to be in reasonably good shape since it can become somewhat strenuous. Please ask your travel consultant about this. 05Mar Iguazu - Rio In the morning, you will have a guided tour to the Brazil side of the falls. The thunderous crash of tons of rushing water against basaltic rocks amidst the jungle of birds, butterflies and orchids will take your breath away. Note: tour with shared guide. How to book Once you have looked over the details outlined above and would like to proceed, there is an easy booking process. Again it is important to note that bookings are subject to availability at time of confirmation. Step 1 – contact your consultant Your consultant will confirm vital details, go through the itinerary in detail and answer any questions you may have. Step 2 – Booking We require your full names as per passports (first and surnames), dates of birth, nationality, passport numbers and your passport expiry date to create a reservation. Please send this to your consultant via email. Step 3 – pay a deposit Upon holiday confirmation, a deposit of £500 per person is required to confirm your booking. This can be paid by debit card, credit card or bank transfer. Note deposits may be larger than £500 if your flights need to be issued or extra deposits for cruises or lodges apply. This extra amount can be paid by debit card or bank transfer with no additional service charge incurred or by credit card (note that credit cards attract a 2% surcharge, and American Express – a 2.5% charge). If your holiday is booked within 10 weeks of departure, full payment is required at the time of booking. Step 4 – finalisation of itinerary Once your travel specialist has confirmed all arrangements regarding your itinerary, a hard copy of your invoice and itinerary will be posted out to you and we email this information in addition. Step 5 – balance payment The balance of your holiday payment is required 10 weeks prior to departure. This can be paid by debit card or by credit card (note that credit cards attract a 2% surcharge, and American Express – a 2.5% charge).
