As an engineer I gained an excellent grounding in Electronic Engineering during my apprenticeship as a Radio Systems Engineer with the British Army, before gaining exceptional field engineering skills in customer facing roles with Traffic Safety Systems and Alan Davis Automatics. I am an extremely driven individual and in an effort of continuous self-improvement returned to education as a mature student with the University of Exeter reading MEng Electronic Engineering with international study.

Masters Group Project - Hybrid Power Management System
Part of a group involved with the re-introduction of the Supacat ATMP vehicle to the military market. The project involved Hybrid Powertrain system design to maximise vehicle efficiency whilst improving overall performance.
Bachelors Project – Solar Harvested Semi Active RFID Transponder with Supercapacitor Storage
The project was undertaken at the Czech University in Prague and was part of a larger Eureka cluster project into the introduction of RFID technology into automotive supply chain. The project investigated advanced RF system design and testing, to maximise read range of a RFID transponder by introducing a harvested power source and Supercapacitor power storage. The project was deemed so successful I had a paper published on my findings in the prestigious Advances in Electrical and Electronic Engineering journal.
