Deciding whether or not to stop to vote while driving on election day. Reactive thinking = The answer would be no. I choose reactive because it’s spontaneous and I wouldn’t need a minute to think about it. I am one of Jehovah Witnesses, and we believe strictly as Jesus said in the Bible that he was “No part of the world and his followers would not be either”. This is not saying that we are against government or what it stands for; No, No, No, a thousand times no! The Bible tells us to “respect those who are in the governmental positions”.” And to pay back to Caesar what belongs to him.”
Deciding whom to vote for. Reactive thinking = The answer would be no one. I cast my vote in 1985 for Jehovah and His righteous, New Kingdom. This Kingdom by rule of His Son Jesus Christ will put an end to all of mankind’s woes. This Kingdom will rid the Earth of all the badness that man has done to one another as well as the Earth itself. Mankind will never have to worry about living in fear. There will plenty food for all to eat. Each one will build houses and live in them their selves. They will plant and eat what they grow. They will not be laboring for someone else. Their flesh will become revived as in their youth. The last Enemy DEATH will be done away with. So I will NEVER vote for a mortal man, in whom no salvation lies.
Deciding which school to attend. Reflective thinking = The answer is yes. I would have to take time to think about this decision because it will make a big impact on my life, I would want to make sure I find the best school suited for my needs. I also would want to check out the instructors, and their levels of education. I would need to see whether or not the school has accreditation.
Reading through the entire project before beginning your work. Reactive thinking = Yes I would this. I need to see what the whole project is about before I start. Just suppose I start on the first part and when I get down half way I need to change the whole thing. I would have wasted much valuable time by simply taking two minutes to read the whole assignment.
Deciding to post your picture on Instagram or Facebook. Reflective = I would have to think long and hard as to what kind of picture to post; especially on Facebook. On it your life is an open book, and anyone can look on it. As for Instagram, I would likely post; but I would still be cautious.
Deciding whether or not to loan money to a family member. Reflective I would have to think and reflect on past experiences with this one. But in the end I probably won’t do it because of reneging of so many pledges to pay; but never, ever, following through. This will be a definite NO!
Deciding whether or not to pick up dinner. Reflective = It all depends as to whether I have something cooked at home, which is all the time. Or, if I feel like putting it to defrost, or, if something is already down, which is usually the case. Then, it depends on my taste buds. That’s way this is reflective for me.
Deciding which car to purchase. Reflective – This is a decision that I would have to put a lot thought into. Do I want a car like the one I have now or do I want a totally different Brand. I would have to research makes, models, brands as well as dealerships.
Deciding on the right deal which would be right for purchasing a car. Reflective = I would most definitely use this thinking method. I would have to set back and weigh my potions. Every one that advertises a deal doesn’t really have a deal. There are all kinds all hidden traps and loop holes in their contracts. Let the buyer beware! I would have to do a lot of research to make sure I am getting the car that I want, and that I am not being ripped off.
Deciding what to wear on a job interview. Reflective = I will definitely use this thinking method. You dress to impress! You only have 5 min. to sell yourself and the way you look is the most important part. It tells the employer whether or you take pride in yourself, in what you do, in who you are as an individual.
So there you have it. This is my take on this assignment.
