Great Recipe I found on thee Internet. Mixture of meats and vegetables.
¾ cup of onions, diced to 1/8 inch
½ slab of bacon, sliced ¼ inch
1-1/4 teaspoon of garlic cloves minced
1 pint of chicken bouillon
1 quart of water (or as needed)
4 medium potatoes, cut in half length wise, then cut in ¼ slices
4 cups of cavallo greens (kale can be used instead), then cut in half, then slice into 1/16 inch strips
5 cups of sausage links (spicy and regular can be used), cut in half lengthwise then cut at an angle into ½ slices
1 cup of heavy whipping cream
Pre-heat oven to 300 degrees.
Place sausage links onto a sheet pan and bake 15 to 20 minutes or until done. They can also be cooked on the stove top until done.
Place onions and bacon into a large saucepan and cook onions over medium heat until the onions are almost clear (Do not let bacon get crunchy crunchy).
Add garlic and cook 1 to 2 minutes.
Add chicken bouillon, water and potatoes and bring to a simmer for 20 to 30 minutes or until the potatoes are done.
NOTE: Ingredients can be doubled as needed to accommodate a larger group.
