During & After Basic~
Do it, if you know it's right!
This message has a great meaning to me.
During these challenging month's of my senior year I've felt pressure on my shoulder's from every direction. But after a relaxing shower, one of my favorite Disney movies 'MULAN', a steaming cup of tea, and some fresh baked chocolate chip cookies. I took a few deep breaths and thought about the reason's I have decided the military is for me. I guarantee you, before join you'll get cold feet too, so do whatever you do that makes you feel better when your beginning to get overwhelmed, and rethink the reasons you decided to join!
Military Lifestyle (off work):
When you get off your off you have a normal life.
-Your able to go to the movies
-Shop at the mall
Visit family & friends
Military Lifestyle (off work)continued:
Bases have all the essentials every community has such as a shopping plaza called a PX/ Commissary and in the navy it's called the exchange.( PX stands for purchase exchange)
Soldiers have the option to live either on or off base which is a great opportunity.
Soldiers see a different world with the experience of being a leader.
For example: opportunities to goal chase they are fully equip for what life throws there way.
You view on life is completely different.
The military gives you confidence, new values, and shows you how to truly live.
What civilians think about a Military Lifestyle~
Every one assumes that in the military it's always serious and never any fun.
Life a regular life
Yes, you wear uniforms, but on a lot of jobs you wear uniforms.
When work is over you can leave base and have a base.
